For those interested, I'm starting up commissions.

Here's how this works. Since this is my first time, I'm only opening up one slot for now. I'm also just doing bracelets. Bookmarks may be an option in the future.

These are custom-made bracelets, meaning the one commissioning it has to decide on a pattern. You have a few options.

Advanced Option: Send a note of what exactly you want on the bracelet. If there's any graphics you want represented, send a linked example. I won't accept any copyrighted material. Currently, I will accept any graphics, as long as it can be translated to about 6 non-monochromatic colors. Basic color suggestions are accepted, no monochromatic designs will be accepted. The better the information you give me the more satisfying the end results. Text is also accepted as long as it's short and simple. After all, one can't fit the works of Shakespeare on a 72 by 16 grid.

After you tell me what you want, I make several examples that incorporate the graphics, colors and any text. I'll send the examples your way to pick which one you like best -or- if there need to be changes to anyone of them to finalize the design. This process could take several days, possibly a week depending on the complexity.

Once the design is chosen and finalized, that will be when the product will be expected to be paid for. Once payment is received I will start with the actual crafting. This process won't take more then three weeks, probably as little as a few days. I won't give exact times, because, well . . . there so many variables that could be involved.



Basic option: With this option, you create the design. Start by getting the basic pattern in my scraps on my DA account.

It is intended that the template boxes are longer than they are wide. This is factoring in that the beads are the same way. It's a ratio of 3:4 to prevent design distortion. An example of this would be, if I made a pattern four beads by four beads of the same color. The finished product would be a rectangle, not a square.

Fill in the spaces yourself, submit it to me. If the pattern followed the above guidelines, and you've submitted your payment, I'll get to work on it ASAP.

It's a much larger piece, the intended idea when I created this was for a dream-catcher centerpiece for a friend. I won't accept a basic option for this, because of the potential complexity of the design. The way the piece is mounted can be discussed. Currently, I only have one option, which mounts the piece to two sticks, top and bottom.


Pricing is as follows:

$28 for advanced,
$18 for basic.
$50 for the large piece.

Art trades may be negotiable, though I may not consider it for now.
